Tenders

Their Excel in. Your prices back in their file.

Any layout. Thousands of lanes. Six sheets and three currencies. Mapped, priced from your own rates, checked against 54 rules — and written back into the shipper’s own template, cell for cell.

01 — Intake

Drop the workbook in. Whatever shape it is.

Merged headers, a legend sheet, three currencies, blacked-out cells, a lane ID column they invented. Nothing needs to be tidied first — the point of the feature is that their file is a mess and yours is not.

02 — Mapping

The columns map themselves. You fix what it got wrong, once.

Then it remembers — by header signature, per customer. The same shipper’s next round arrives already mapped, including the corrections you made and the custom columns you added.

03 — Gateways

“Shenzhen” is a city, not a gateway.

SZX, or two hours by truck to HKG for the capacity? It shows you the options with the reason for each and lets you choose — then keeps that choice for every later round, and prices the lane against the gateway you actually picked.

04 — Pricing

Four prices on every lane, not one.

The shipper’s target, what you believe wins it, your floor — derived from cost and your margin policy — and your walk-away, which the system never fills in for you. One number is not a negotiating position.

05 — The check

54 checks, before it leaves the building.

The decimal slip. The fill-down that overwrote line 212. A rate below your own walk-away with no reason written. Margin that reads healthy because the currency column is wrong. Each one says what it found, why it matters, and what to do.

06 — Submission

Back into their template. Cell for cell.

Not a CSV they have to re-import. Their own workbook, their own layout, their formatting intact and their lane IDs unmoved — which is the difference between a submission that gets scored and one that gets returned.

Round two and beyond

The round nobody builds for.

Most of the work in a tender happens after the first submission. Cargo-Stack treats the later rounds as the main event, because that is where the file is won.

🧠

It remembers the last round

Mapping, gateway choices, your custom columns and every correction you made — reapplied before you look at it.

📉

Target vs last round, per lane

Where you are above their target, where you moved and by how much, and which lanes you have already cut past sensible.

🚧

A floor you cannot cross by accident

BAFO pressure is where margin dies quietly. A lane under your own walk-away needs a reason typed next to it.

Award feeds the next one

What you won, at what price, against what you predicted — pushed into your rate library and read back the next time this customer appears.

Put a real tender through it.

Not a sample. Take the last workbook a shipper sent you, drop it in, and see what the checks find. Fourteen days, no card, and your data is exportable and deletable at any time.
